So, it looks like you've decided on spamming me with vids from yer multiple nics . . . instead of taking part in any discussion, lad . . .

Anyway, regarding the sanctuary movement I happen to support it . . . and here is an article that describes it pretty well - origin, purpose, etc. . . .

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanctuary_movement

The Sanctuary movement was a religious and political campaign in the United States that began in the early 1980s to provide safe haven for Central American refugees fleeing civil conflict. The movement was a response to federal immigration policies that made obtaining asylum difficult for Central Americans.

As the article also points out - the movement led to Temporary Protected Status . . . an item that donnie boy wrongly screwed up . . .

But ya see - the movement is about asylum not immigration (in and of itself) . . .

So, which is it that you are wanting to address - immigration or asylum, eh lad . . .

It is also why I limited my initial question to you ta concerning immigration . . . that you've yet to address, lad . . .

As you can see above - I happen to agree that is what the topic of the thread is supposed ta be about . . . thus the initial question to you about immigration . . . not only the initial question to you . . . but as you can see above even more specific "So, is there something about immigration to Israel that you wish to discuss, eh lad" . . . i.e. immigration as it relates to Israel . . . or is there some other topic/issue concerning Israel that you would prefer to address concerning Israel, eh lad . . .

Hey, slackerx/ramsey/ricardomath . . . perhaps it is you don't wish to address/discuss what would be a controversial topic/issue about Israel . . . so here is a topic that can't think would be controversial -

Snow in Israel . . .

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snow_in_Israel

Snowfall in Israel is uncommon but it occurs sometimes in certain parts of the country. In January and February 1950, Israel experienced the largest snowfall registered since the beginning of meteorological measurements in 1870.

The snow event began in early January 1950 with a hailstorm in Tel Aviv and light snow in the mountains of the Upper Galilee and Jerusalem.[1]

On January 27, it began to snow in the northern mountains and Jerusalem. It piled up but quickly melted. A cold front spread throughout the country and snow began falling in the mountains of Samaria and the West. On the 28th it snowed in Haifa and piled up to a height of 15 cm. Even in Tel Aviv, snow fell for several minutes.[2] On January 29, it snowed again in Haifa, blanketing most of the city in white.

On December 13, 2013, 40–70 cm (16–28 in) of snow fell in Jerusalem and 1 m (3 ft 3 in) in the Kefar Etzion area. Warmer parts of Israel received heavy rains, causing floods. Although it was the Sabbath, the railway into Jerusalem ran for people stranded by blocked roads.

Roads were closed in Israel by deep snow and flooding. Storm clouds prompted Ben Gurion International Airport to shut down, forcing US Secretary of State John Kerry to cut short his meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah to return to Israel before roads and airports were out of service.

With the snowfall of 2013 lasting a bit . . . makes me wonder if there were and or are some cross country skiing fans in Israel . . . would have been a great time ta get some time in doing that . . .

Do you know if it say gets cold enough for long enough that maybe it might be viable to set up some sort of complex and do man made snow . . .

I don"t care.

Feel free to post to somebody who does.

Why yes it is, slackerx/ramsey/ricardomath . . . thus the question to you concerning immigration and Israel . . . and if you don't wish to address a controversial topic concerning Israel . . . have offered what should be a non controversial topic about Isreal . . . i.e. snowfall in Israel . . .

Of course if there is any other topic/issue concerning Israel you would prefer . . . feel free ta name it and will see if I can address it, lad . . .
