The only future for members of the Taliban Government is to fukk off and join the people they collaborated with.
They had the opportunity to join the resistance and failed to do so.

As a foreign journalist in Afghanistan, I have an extensive list of dos and don'ts when working in the country. Threatening a Kabul cop in broad daylight is definitely high on my list of don'ts.

Why would I accept anything said by the collaborators?

Oops, I already answered this.
Just saw:
Between her fits of road rage, Laila and I talked about the possibility of the Taliban returning to power.
"I'm shocked," she said. "The Americans introduced democracy, human rights, women's rights to us and encouraged us to defend them. Now they're telling us that the Taliban are legit?
And my previous answer still applies.
Question is - are you going to blame the white people and the gunsĀ in this affair or are you going to blame their victims?

The Vietnamese work with the US, the Germans and Russians deal and work together , the US and Japan work together , Jews and Germany work (very closely) together , the English and French who fought for centuries deal with each other and so on , Egypt , Jordan and Israel deal and work together at many levels , Turkey and Israel work together despite the spats , Israel imports Saudi products and the Saudis import Israeli products , almost if not all the Gulf and Emirates talk with Israel and are cooperating at various levels
Economic requirements trump everything , rebuilding a nation , educating the people , incentives to forge partners and in time people may not forget but new realities over take old hatreds .
Numbnuts is as clueless as usual

The US is constantly trying to smash up that cooperation.
