It's not like everyone is mad at Trump for an offensive tweet he made 10 years ago.

They're mad because he is a dangerous criminal.

I have NO problem with this asshat getting cancelled.

I think it has more to do with how much money is involved.

Montserrat Figueras had (and continues to have) a large following.  And she'll be remembered, which Whitney Houston most assuredly will not be, but Whitney Houston generated cash-flow for immediately consumption.
