I pointed out that these podcasts would have been ignored if they were crappy. That was clearly not the case, they had some appeal.

What I'm not sure of is, why they were attacked. Especially not by the very group which should have been most enthralled.

I'd put it down to some little noticed but destructive part of gay culture.

Interesting question , Judaism is like a stout oak tree with many branches , the root of Judaism the Hasidic / Ultra Orthodox reject Homosexuality but I guess they must recognize its existence ( though I have never heard any of them say as such ) as to the other branches of course they recognize the LGB etc and their rights

The army does not differentiate it advises gay people merely to act with tact and caution and across the Israeli society it is an accepted I would almost say non existent topic 

You will still love your kids no matter their preference

I'd say it was a religion like any other.

Its very divided over its support of Israel - but has bludgeoned many Jewish critics into silence over it.

Even the "True Torah Jews" of Brooklyn, the only semi-intact religious European group to partially survive and reach the west, have been partly muzzled.

Their "JewsNotZionists" web-site has been forced to take down many of the things it used to publish - including the things that Ken Livingstone (the "other" two term Mayor of London and also quite popular and a serious advisor to Corbyn) said and lead to him being drummed out of the Labour Party.

There is  NO SUCH THING as True Torah Jews because any Jew who is faithful and is following the Torah and its laws is a true Torah Jew , NO JEW NO MATTER HOW PIOUS has the right in the JEWISH religion to make claims to being better than any other Jew that is why even the most SECULAR Jew who when he is buried as a Jew will be as Jewish in Death as in Birth and the only Judge to his spirit and righteousness will be the Almighty

The titles these groups assume in their pitiful efforts to portray their cause as better than others does not and will not make them better (or worse Jews) than any others

Finally elements of the TTJ now reside in Israel even though they demonstrate against it , elements of every single anti ZIONIST group no matter how vehement they are in their religious reasons for rejecting Israel are to be found here in Israel (enjoying of course all the handouts they can get)

To be a Jew requires a Jewish Mother , from the moment of conception till death you will be a Jew , if you have converted to Judaism in the correct accepted manner the same applies 

If you spend your life in prayer and hope or on the battlefield or on the beach you will remain equal in Judaism , your differences will be many and varied but you are all the same
