having eased down the lockdown in Israel we are now faced again with the resurfacing in schools of ever more cases .

There seems to be a mindset that the lock down eases , masks are no longer an absolute , the beaches yesterday were mobbed and of course the problem has not left .

For the last couple of weeks R has been less than 1. If it rises, the plan is to shut down by area and of course, track, trace and isolate will be up and running.

As best I can tell, we're accepting a level of infection that the NHS can now (hopefully) deal with.

But "culling" is probably the right word for it - we all (or up to 60% of us?) have to get the disease and recover, as 99% of us will do if the NHS is able to do its job.

Very concerning, because our schools are beginning to open after lock down.
