Someone will find a way to hack it! Seems to me that substituting 2 guards is not impressive.

That's just problem ONE. Why bother hacking when you could just dig a hole, or place a random obstacle in front of it.
However, a mechanical guard would not be corrupt or beat the hell out of prisoners. So there are advantages.

Do you get cyclones there? We don't get hurricanes or tornadoes here.
Anything "tornado-like" is called a 'Willy Willy'.

The only difference between a hurricane and a typhoon is the location where the storm occurs. ... In the North Atlantic, central North Pacific, and eastern North Pacific, the term hurricane is used. The same type of disturbance in the Northwest Pacific is called a typhoon.
All are cyclones, but usually referred to by storms in the Indian Ocean.

I know that some are called men and some women.
Cyclones and hurricanes are both named after women.
