Indeed Winchester is already operating LCAAP for 7.62 ammo. BUT this time is for NGSW, ergo they will run the production of the winner fo NGSW. And I seriously doubt that they will run the production of either SIG or TV ammo

Or maybe they need to build and improve really sizeable lines in order to lower the unitary cost of the new cartridge

I confess: I still want them to win and to make the industry evolve. Maybe they have solved chamber alignment

Lake City is a US Army facility.  If SIG or TV ammo is adopted, Lake City will produce it for the military.

I knew that. But do you think that TV or sig would accept Winchester as line manager?

I think they would have no choice.

Some of us assumed that a conservative FC such as vortex or L3 Harris were defined as a risk containment measure, given the high risk of the new ammo. Nevertheless, IVAS is suspended and can be rejected definitivelly.

I mean, without a full capable FCS that offers a perturbed aimpoint, the most important step will not be made for now

IVAS is not out, the FOV of the display was changed from an ambitious 80FOV to a a still excellent 70FOV (which is nearly twice that of comparable devices) + the addition of an anti-moisture coating to the goggles, it is now on track for deployment later this year, feedback from Project : Convergence 2021 (the wargames), was overwhelmingly positive other than the aforementioned technical issues.

And yes, both NGSW FCS have a disturbed reticle feature
