I think one of the Baltic States is looking at something like this.

that would make a lot of sense for them. It'd also need very dispersed heavier weapons.

There used to be a LOT of National Guard armories in the US. For the Baltic States, maybe keep rifle, basic ammunition load, and set of fatigues/basic kit at home. Local armory with vehicles, more ammo/general supplies, and heavier weapons.

On the downside, one of the reasons for shrinking the number of NG armories in the U.S. was break-ins and weapons being stolen.

10m is actually super impressive given 7.62x51 M993 from a 16" was getting stopped at 12 meters distance.

7.62x51 M993 does not seem a relevant basis for comparison.

I agree and would add: from a 5" barrel.

Yeah, outstanding penetration for a pistol caliber but what if you scale it up to 338 .375 .510 Would it then be able to penetrate level 4 body armor at 1000+yard?

Is anything known about the Projectile? Just curious if it is any special alloy or just the old story, brass jacket, tungsten core and done.

When it comes to PDWs, Swedish "S" tank crews have to be the best ever.

For dismounted armament, each of the three crewmen had a 7.62 GPMG!
