For some time now I have been looking for a Period correct AP value chart for ww2 era ,Browning .50 caliber AP rounds, and Ball ammo as well, the problem I keep running into is that a lot of references out there list post war, or contemporary values for the gun, as there using contemporary ammunition.

Complicating the mater further is many source note values for Steel penetration, not Armor.

I am asking in hear, in the hope that this is seen by someone in the know that can give me a clue.

Thanks

From the US ordnance office's September 1945 publication Terminal Ballistic Data Volume III:

But It is admittedly a bit confusing to interpret, I think I shows the Following:

10 m    100 m    500 m    1,000 m    1,500 m    2,000 m

31         30           26           22               18               15

But I am not 100% Certain?
