Also Emeric, I hope someone paid you a billion dollars to a) write that and 2) take it off the internet again.  I had it saved at one point but I switched machines...... but the analysis of chamber pressure and caliber and audible suppression, all measured by a reasonably relevant constant, was brilliant.

Thank you for those kind words. I talked to my employer and he agreed to give me one billion dollars for my next 22,500 years of work.

I started a new revision of this paper in 2020, but didn't find the time to finish it (maybe this winter).

Ukrainians using  Soviet PTAB-2.5 anti-tank aerial bombs to be dropped from commercial drones. Original PTAB-2.5 claim to fame was in use on IL-2 in WW2 , M  model is a slightly more modern version used as a cluster submunition, in any case with 60-70mm Armor penetration at 30° angle of impact and 100mm at 90°, even the old ww2 version can pierce just about any MBT or IFV top armor, the M version penetration is twice that .

''Further development in drone-delivered munitions- Ukrainian forces adapted PTAB-2.5M anti-armor submunitions to be dropped from COTS UAVs. Usually these are dispersed from RBK-250 cluster aerial bombs but in present circumstances this adaptation will be more effective.''

Be wary around the 22,499 point.  He may try something sneaky!

Close and clear view of a GMLRS impact, showing the ring of fragmentation from the PFF Warhead (appears as a black circle outside the blast.) Reportedly the warhead has 180k fragments.

Wonderfully detailed line by line item list of weapons the Pentagon is purchasing for Ukraine or to back fill weapons already sent to Ukraine:

https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1574606905363898387.html

Artilelry, HIMARS, Javelins, etc, right down to how much $ in artillery shell powder is being purchased.

However, due to my Milkor grenade launcher fetish, this stuck out the most to me. This suggests either a large number of Milkors have already been sent to Ukraine, and these are to replace them, or that the Milkors sent to Ukraine have proven sufficiently valuable that more will be sent. Curious how many Milkors can be bought for $5.26 Million.
