Not exactly.  This thread is about the MPF, which has a different 105mm gun than the AMX-10, and fires a family of higher velocity ammo.

Thinking about the light tank/FSV concept. Is there any reason why these things should have 120mm? They shouldn't slug it out with a tank anyway? And a smaller gun would give space for other things like maybe a periscope mast, ESM and a drone or 2?

THis has come up serveral times in this threat.

The answer is not for fire support and anti AFV use except MBTs a 120 or 105 mm gun is not needed. A 90 mm or 75/3" will do just fine. Or as alternative a good AC with ATGMs as backup.
But i really do not see the need to put a mast periscope or drones onto a light tank or FCV. The mission doesn't require these.
