What's with the off-balance shooting stance that transfers bodyweight from the legs and feet to the barricade?
Seems like it would be somewhat problematic if they had to suddenly react to contact on their left or right flank.

I think it's part of the new ARQ that allows supported standing barricade stances in a couple of intermediate-range (100-200 meter) stages. That particular Marine does seem to be taking it a bit too far, but the general impression from other pics is that the idea is to put some body weight on the support point to improve stabilization.

They are overdoing the lean in but that is because the barricade they use is achored into the gound and it allows it.

Stuff that came from the competition world, you can get a much more stable shooting position, but the dude is ovedoing the lean in .
