So, everything old is new again ;)
The balanced action is more than a century old, and has not proved to be sufficiently effective despite numerous efforts to implement it. For military use, it is too expensive and too dirt-sensitive and maintenance-heavy; for sport shooters, gas regulators and lightened bolt carries do the same trick at a much lesser cost.
But some ideas just refuse to die.

I havent shot it , but i am sure our resident tacticool gearwhores Polenar Tactical will soon be making some tests , as will folks from TFB that are like BFF with Polenar Tacticool
As for the whole balanced action thing , this thing was mainly developed for IPSC and likes , and being an aftermarket drop in part for any Ar15 with a standard buffer tube , its not the same a dedicated balanced recoil actions its part you can choose to use or not without any modifications needed so could also be tested side by side more viably than a dedicated counter balanced action . I do not expect it being used by the military but we will definetly have it tested by them . While Slovenia is a small (2mio folks) we do have great firearms industry also thanks to probably the best gun laws in EU , lots of new stuff being developed and the military is also eager to get on board with these things.
As far as i am aware there are plans to develop a dedicated bolt carrier and later a PCC, so that buffer mechanism would be engaged all the time, AR15 PCCs that are mostly not to well behaved blow back bolt types Are extremely popular right now as comps and practice can be held on pistol ranges.

I am fresh from IWA shot show , did take a few picts , but honestly was kind of disappointed with new offerings or more lack there off.
Resident tacticool gear whores Polenar Tactical made a short vid on the buffer.
A quick look at the new products from IWA outdoor classic gun expo in Nuremberg, Germany. Full video of the whole fair is coming soon.

Polenar is catering to a different crowd, but more than anything they are the ones making wids as they are the foremost gun related media company in Europe
I had a small presence on IWA with my SPC-01

Actually that was one of the things that were actively discussed on IWA , couple of potential US 'investors' with own fireams manufacturing were quite interested to have it made in US ,being an integrally suppressed firearm exports to US get expensive courtesy of ATF and manufacturing in US is often cheaper than in Europe anyway.
One thing that is important to work out ,if we need to tweak anything to avoid ITAR limitations in the future being applied to the 'European version' of same Rifle being manufactured in US possibly under US brand , we still want to be able to sell gold plated diamond encrusted rifles to any dictator we want .

Very cool, if you could share more about the rifle I'm sure we'd all love to hear more about it.
In terms of sales to the US, one thing I've wanted to see is a bolt action suppressed 9mm / .45 acp rifle, preferably that takes Glock mags. Sort of a modern De Lisle:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Lisle_carbine
9mm/.45 subsonic should be much quieter then .300blk, making it a fun gun to shoot, and 9mm and .45 Subsonic are also cheaper, and can be shot at all sort of ranges rather than dedicated rifle ranges.
There's currently nothing like that on the market, so I think it could be an attractive niche for the US civilian market.

De Lisle, if it was made today to modern specs, would not be in 45ACP , 45APC was just the most practical off the shelf subsonic round at the time and Lee Enfield by virtue of rear locking and swappable boldface the easy action to make work.Even today there is no easier bolt action to convert to 45acp than lee enfield.
Why do you think subsonic 9x19 let alone 45acp would be quieter than subsonic 300BLK ?
The important advantage 300BLK holds over 9mm is that subsonic 300BLK has about as much KE at 400+m as 9mm has at the muzzle, 9mm and 45acp are both shedding KE at much higher rates due to low BC bullets while 45ACP could run with 300BLK to about 120m , it lacks the capability of .300BLK to go much hotter with supersonics. Not to mention as crap as .300BLK design is, it can be much more accurate at range not to mention 45acp is at present less common in service use than 300blk
This thing started as an absolutely clean sheet of paper design 2y ago as a response to Czech SF requirement for an MP5SD sized bolt action that could offer better accuracy/range than any existing suppressed rifle , original project also included an optic with a custom BDC reticle specific to this rifle and ammo combination.

I think that the big reason is that 45ACP and especially 9x19 is much less expensive in the US. Most US shooters would not utilize the long-distance advantage of 300BLK and largely use it as a range toy. Home defense and quietly dispatching varmints in the back yard would be seen as its main practical uses by most owners.
