>>>And what 'free will action' caused the infant to get terminal brain cancer?  Or to be born with no brain, and die immediately? <<<

I worked in an autopsy room for a couple years when I was young and there were a number of babies like that which came to us.. One of the residents suggested the high incidence of malformed babies might be due to industrial pollution.. (It was a very industrial city and very full of polution)

(I have no idea if he followed up on that)

One could make the same claim about any other imaginary entity.

The difference is that they don't exist.

Scripture is not 'evidence'

It is only part of the evidence.

Not so bad. We'd still be running around naked in the jungle in Eden (central Africa?)

You'd like that?

Without the threat of damnation, many religions would lose 99% of their power to persuade.

No other religions except Christianity have such a belief and Christians are not persuading very many people.

Christianity is not growing and Islam is going to overtake it by the middle of this century.

Up to now I thought you were able to recognize satire.  I guess I was wrong.

Of course I recognize satire but I am not sure that is what it is in your case.

All religion, yours included, is made up stupidity.

You are free to believe that since you have free will.

Ain't free will great?

Prove free will exists.

We will now read your programmed response.

You will not read a programmed response because I don't have one.

Nobody can prove that free will exists anymore than they can prove that God exists.

>>I do not believe that there was ever an A & E or a Garden of Eden.  I believe that is a fictional story.<<

According to the gospels, Jesus spoke of A&E as real people who existed from the very beginning.  I thought you claimed that Jesus was one of God's messengers.  If God's messengers get things wrong, why should we believe them on anything?  Falsus in Uno, Falsus in Omnibus.

"Jesus spoke of A&E as real people who existed from the very beginning"

Chapter and verses please.  Otherwise I am not going to believe that.

Besides that, we all know that Jesus did not write the gospels so it would not be Jesus who got anything wrong.

>humans are partly responsible for those since their free will actions and decisions exacerbate diseases and plagues.<

And what 'free will action' caused the infant to get terminal brain cancer?  Or to be born with no brain, and die immediately?

The infant was totally innocent.

How is that the product of human agency?  Or are you going to claim that God wanted that infant dead for His own purposes?  So much for 'free will' then....

I never said that everything that happens in this world is caused by free will.  Many things are fated, predestined by God, and we have no control over such things.
