This is surprising because bear isn’t a fan of kibble no matter what. Once I move and have the space I’ll probably go back to raw.

What do you feed him? My older dog gets THK but the younger is on an allergy diet that is too expensive in cans.  $4 apiece and I would need to feed 4 a day.

I settled on pro plan 30-20. It’s the kibble he’s done the best on. Most of the other ones he doesn’t like or are too rich.

It’s very difficult to find decent kibble that a dog likes and does well on.

I know. I’m not one that pushes raw as some end all or be all miracle cure. I’ve pretty much seen all of the same problems with kibble pop up with raw. I just know my dogs have a preference for it and it was the only thing that worked for getting bear to put on weight.

My dogs love raw but it made each of them sick in different ways.

It can be good, but it has it’s issues. I don’t think it’s for everyone.

It must be managed exactly to get all the right nutrients.

Exactly. People try to make it on there own and come back with all types of problems. Or they don’t choose a good premade one.
