Kirschental is a top German Kennel and they are all working dogs.  Uran Vom Wildsteigerland dog's grand sire.

She sounds like a good all around family dog. I worked with a trainer for several years on scentwork and tracking, and a few other things, like BH although we never trialed. He said my male was too friendly and wanted me to allow less of that.  No greeting strangers, no meeting temporary visitors in our home.  He said a true protective dog isn’t social to everyone. It’s breed standard to have some human aggression and to be aloof.

I don’t know that breeder.

My dog was also a Uran progeny.  He was very prolific.

Karl fuller has passed and his kennel is gone. His U litter pops up in many pedigrees of working lines and showlines. It’s also found in Cion’s pedigree.

There is an interesting statement. Not one I agree with. A dog is capable of being social and turning on aggression.

I don't believe Kirschental is still breeding. I think the owner passed.

That is true. They dismantled the kennel. Someone tried to find another kennel carrying on the lines and couldn’t.  They are old sheep herding stock.  It’s sad that German Shepherds don’t herd sheep anymore.
