Prosecuting the Catholic Church--why not?
Child molesting
racketeering
fraud
misuse of funds (IRS)
unlawful use of tax exemption

and probably a lot more.

The government doesn't tend to do well when they go up against organized religion. People get very emotional when religion is involved.

I know, but in my opinion, the catholic church has caused more misery than any economic system.  It has been doing this for 1600 years.  Maybe it is time.

Nevada woman arrested for trying to vote twice.

"Vote early and often" is just a saying, sweetheart. You weren't supposed to really do the often part...

That is depressing, but not surprising.  2008 behavior by the Catholic church was horrendous - and here in AZ in 2000 and 2004 the Bishop actually endorsed the R candidates from the pulpit, in the bulletin and in some smaller papers.   One Bishop even said that a vote for a D was a vote for abortion -
