Looked at Henry Q for the first Time. Last 3 races on Lasix goes from 81 to 101 on lasix Sunland

on that cement track at Sunland dejavu all over again LOL and not a Baffert First time elevation 2/28/23

wins by 14 lengths ,+29 points Equibase.  8.5f  23.43, 46.92, 1.11.15,  1.35.57, 1.41.52 (24 days off)(25 days off) now
Is This enough time to recover from elevation on Lasix .      (23.49)  (24.23) (24.42)  (5.95).

Any experts out there that have any input.
How about others racing on Lasix will adjust no Lasix at this elevation

No wonder Many I know are skipping this race including me, Some time you just pass.

I do not Smarty. However my friends returned from Vegas yesterday and gave me a printout of futures from The flamingo. Henry is down to 25-1!!! Can you believe it. He needs to win—not second on Sunday then pay up just to get in. Geez probably get close to that on derby day if he makes it. Anyway he was 40-1 last Friday when my friends called and even then I said no thanks. Ended up putting my $60 on Skinner at 45-1. Henry is fast becoming the early “buzz” horse.  Future bets have sure turned for the worse IMO. North

Thanks,

I think we are old enough to remember how many times Baffert has done this

with a front Runner on that cement, they are not Mine that Bird pacing his energy out

at a high elevation for fitness with tf family 23b that wins derbys.

Who is Racing this weekend  that is on The Beyer Leader Board might help showing who is improving.
March 5 is the last day someone made the Leaderboard 20 days ago.
Worcester Racing Favorite Mdn. is on here twice 6.5 f 96, improves longer 8.5f 98
is what you want to see with a 3 yr old , stretching out numbers better than shorter sprints.
Henry Q the big buzz horse at Sunland speedway 93, shows the variant for the track, He might
win Tomorrow and be the real deal ,93 is at the bottom of the leaderboard .

I use the leaderboard for one of my gauges

Look how many Leaders raced at Santa Anita, really

Only 2 on the Board Worcester and Henry Q are racing in these 4 preps

this weekend.  Say what, Worcester UAE, Henry Q Sunland, My take is

right now there isn't much out there in the 3 American Preps, How good are the Lightly

Raced Horses, I suggest take a good look who might jump up.
Worcester 98 at Santa Anita is suspect to me for the race at Dubai. IMO
4 cookie cutter Baffert's  work out and awarded a 98 beyer.

Fort Bragg is going to the Florida Derby instead so he is scratched.

I think Runaway Ghost was a 23-b.  Actually a lot of horses with very nice pedigrees have won this race, like Firing Line.  Quite a 4m's as well.

I can see just about any horse winning this except the Wild On Ice horse.  While it's true Baff has won 2 of these for Pegram.

How did Henry Q go from Doug O'Neil to Todd Fincher?  O'neil won this race last year with Slow Down Andy.  Did Fincher get the horse off a claim or what?

I can see a horse other than Henry Q and Hard To Figure winning this.   One In Vermillion, How Did He Do That, Low Expectations and all look interesting for different reasons to me.

Heard thru the grapevine Mark Davis has a very nice horse.

I asked above in this topic but nobody answered.... do you know if the O'Neil horse Henry Q went to the Sunland trainer on a claim or did owner transfer him or what?  it's pretty recent.
