For the Louisiana Derby Fast Track, because of the distance and a lack of speed

Many Lasix users and only 3 Lasix free and not many with a good Final Q of 25.40

or faster I'm Playing exacta's and Tri's using 2 Lasix free Instant Coffee and Jaces Road

with Tapit's Conquest and Kingsbarns. Maybe Disarm is worth a look.
Good Luck

I heard there is a chance of Showers at the Fairgrounds and I have it capped for a fast track.
Jaces Road hates off tracks and loves fast tracks the poor horse has a black cloud following him
around lately and should be scratched if its muddy. I'11 replace him with Disarm if its a SYs track

I would like to use lasix free Curly Jack except he is distance challenge imo.

see what happens.

here is Something you may not know and I find interesting.
The 3 fastest  Backspeed leaders with the fasted time 96 came without lasix
the best numbers for the group Instant Coffee and Jaces Road are Lasix free.

Don't you wonder why the Lasix runners can't beat a number that beats the 96,
do you think they can without Lasix. Pros and cons.

Back Speed : Bris data:
96 Instant Coffee 96 Sun Thunder 96 Jace's Road 94 Cagliostro 94 Denington 93 Tapit's Conquest 91 Single Ruler 89 Shopper's Revenge 87 Baseline Beater 86 Curly Jack NA Disarm 95L Kingsbarns

LV odds much different from the UK bookies?

https://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing/ante-post-racing/international/kentucky-derby/winner

I know eventually the odds all start to match up since the bookmakers bet amongst themselves to balance the books.

This is interesting to me, Two Phils Catapults to the top of the Beyer Leaderboard
Awarded a 101 Beyer, for his win on the AW at Turfway Park. This is a first AW Turfway Park #1
and the splits this year are the best I have seen or remember for Turfway, Anybody know
if they changed something to their Track Surface.

They replaced the old, slow Polytrack with the slightly faster Tapeta in December 2021. So this was the second Jeff Ruby run over the new surface.

Below is what is posted on Leader Board to differentiate Dirt figure vs Poly figure

(A) denotes race on all-weather surface

Evident the notation was left off the edition. On the horse (A), not  at the bottom of the list.

As Tex points out the new surface is a prime factor for faster race times, surface provides faster, and numbahs rise.

Having walked on both Poly (at Woodbine and Turfway) and Tapeta (at Woodbine) I can tell you Tapeta is much faster.  It's firmer overall and feels a lot closer to natural dirt in terms of the "grip" you get on it, compared to Polytrack which really did feel like you were walking on a thick layer of lint from your clothes dryer mixed with some pillow fill.  That's a slight exaggeration but there's a clear difference. Poly is a lot "spongier".

Tapeta also has a tendency to clog up tread on your boots/shoes, like dirt can. Poly never did that.
