Big race in Japan 6/26 set to go off with 18 entries, traveling 2200 meters on the inner turf course at Hanshin.  The winner is automatically in The BC Turf and The Cox Plate [Down Under].

I'm liking Authority/Daring Tact/Arrivo in any order.

Here's a link to JRA PPs.  The race is on page 20.  Oh, I should mention it goes off around 2:30 a.m. NY time.

Edit:  I misspelled the race in the title:  The correct spelling is Takarazuka.  Sorry.

Titleholder much the best.  Authhority, a gate scratch.  From the looks of it, the going had a lot to do with the dynamics of the race.  That turf course was firmer than firm.  Look at the kickback.

The ground helped Titleholder shatter the course record.  Now, he is made 16 to 1 for the Arc.
