The weekly HIWU round-up and wall of shame. Any of your favs get busted? Transparency is very refreshing.

The vets came up in the drug culture. They overprescribe, over-medicate and rely on pharmaceutical intervention way too readily and bypass the conservative non-drug protocols. Like simple rest. Some of them are also greedy POS.
Aug-31
How many vets were rounded up along with Servis and Navarro when that went down? Still happening...
Aug-31
Oh I know, that was before this list started and many others down the food chain will make this list.
That was Public even if members on Hisa was involved it it. For me anyway long before Hisa and more of the headlines
then the articles.
Many gullible people out there with not much knowledge a few of them are innocent caught up in it.
They should mention them so every one is educated before the fact, Is anybody bringing that up.
Everyone on a team should be schooled including low man.

Look what some of the cheaters are up to now, Tex. Fortunately, the scheme was caught and a horsemen's advisory has been issued by HISA/HIWU. Mislabeling. That was part of the vet's violations that were swept up in the Navarro/Servis investigation.

That's funny. So you mislabel the drug with a label claming to be authorized by HiSA, use it in a race, test positive, and that's your excuse? Vets must like having their licenses revoked....

Extremely dimwitted or extremely desperate, or both,
What makes me laugh are all those people in the sport who insisted for years and years that the drug problem in racing was so miniscule as to be insignificant.
Two of the worst offenders. The Association of Racing Commissioners Int't, The Racing and Medication Testing Consortium and, how could I forget, The Horsemens Benevolent Protective Assoc. So, make that a trifecta of denialsits.

That's just hilarious. If this were human sport that's like having the IAAF (or whatever it's called now), WADA, and the IOC all in favor of anabolic steroids or at least in favor of turning a blind eye to their use...

HIWU weekly update. There appears to be a rash of metformin positives and I wonder why a drug used to treat diabetes and also used in horses for that purpose in short term usage is showing up in drug tests. I'll do some research when I get some time.
Here's the latest wall of shame. Transparency is good for the sport.
