Arctic Arrogance was supposed to run in this.  But apparently some kinda "barn sickness" going on there?  Boy that doesn't sound good does it.

I cry only crocadile tears for Rice, who is serving a suspension now anyway.

?"Owner Chester Broman said he was informed that there is an illness going through the barn that Arctic Arrogance is stabled in on the Belmont Park backstretch. Arctic Arrogance is trained by Linda Rice, but she was on 10-day suspension through Wednesday and could not be at the barn. Her nephew Adam Rice has been overseeing the stable."

Should be a competitive race, no clear favorite.....interesting that two Beta horses end up here, Carmel Road and Fort Warren, though Warren is cross-entered in a small Parx stakes as the favorite.  Also worthy to note that owners transferred him to Brittany Russell, though most went to Yakteen.

I like Lugan Knight here, though I will be interested to see if Recruiter actually runs here, as he too is cross-entered at Parx.  I have been hoping that they would try him against tougher.

Slip Mahoney is another interesting prospect.

I am considering using Fort Warren too.

Should be a great betting race.....could be a little wet, though not enough to make it unwieldy.

I'll be interested in your longshot picks.....maybe Clear the Air?

Sad to see that Brittany Russell scratched Fort Warren, opting instead for the two turn stakes at Parx as the favorite
