You think 32 is the cut line?

No, I don't, we have 8 races left where the top 2 point getters get 100-40 pts and this year the first 5 finishers

in the preps are receiving points and I think number 20 will be higher than last year and I hate crunching numbers

for horses that don't make the field, I start this time of year with horses that have more than enough to get in.

9 horses in N.A. and 1 in Japan so far ,why mess around with horses that don't have enough points

this is a leading indicator ,the others are Trailing indicators betting on the c^*& , no thanks , one in the hand

is better than 2 in the bush, and it is time consuming, I'm an investor who Gambles once in awhile.

I'm not crazy about the next 2 weeks without a N.A. prep.

Good strategy. I was just wondering cause I suspect as you said, we'll get another 10 with some coming out of nowhere.

9 N.A. races left till the kdy. 8 of which have the monster points to gather. Anything can happen in that time span. Of the top 5 or 6 who basically don't need points to get in do you think they just do a tightening so to speak to prep for the big one? Do you usually play them in the upcoming Gr 1's?

Like Smarty posted, we'll see a few unknowns right now round out the final 10.

In January I thought there were more than usual pigeon holed, Today 3/15/23 getting late, now I'm not so sure

with this HISA Looming 3/27/23 maybe there will be more full disclosure from connections  and not all

are sure they will enter a horse in a prep race until they get cleared by HISA,  Just a thought  on my part

because this year has been weird its baffling to me especially 3 or 4 trainers with 30 or more male 3 year olds

where are the rest of them.

That's good question. It's on the edge for me, should they just have a steady diet of good works tightening the screws as the derby gets closer and then  hope for that monster race derby day. Wow,I just don't know I see plus and minus every way I look at it.

That plus and minus I think is tricky for everybody , Some ideas don't work  out when they try to do

just enough for like a work with enough points to get in. They have to break good to settle to work there plan out

Shaky at best for me.

We've allowed the super trainers to take over racing.   And if a horse does really well, the owners snatch them away from whatever trainer they're with, and move them to one of the super-trainers.   YAWN.

I make more $ and get better odd betting the non-graded stakes races.  More variety, more excitement.

If Worcester wins UAE derby coming Saturday ridden by Frankie Dettori and trained by Bob Baffert does he has entry for Kentucky Derby? Cairo is already nominated for Ky Deby I believe, Can anyone comment
