Interesting race. Thanks for sharing and I'm looking at Keystone and Call Me Fast as well as many others. But those two like the track. Last Samarai, hasn't run two good races in a row in awhile, but is the class. Best of luck!

Could turn out any way, so this is more of a watch race.   Last Samarai is indeed, inconsistent, but has 3 wins and over $1 million bucks at Oaklawn.  He won last stakes race at OP so his odds are pretty depressed.  Nevertheless, not sure I could leave him off a ticket.

Only horses I like out of these 10 are Last Samarai (10), Tawny Port (8), Keystone Field (9), Classic Causeway (5), and Forza Di Oro (7).

Will wait to see odds.

Mott's Vittorio (#2) will probably take some money and may or may not be a danger, but Mott hardly ever comes to Oaklawn but for $500K I imagine he's showing up for a piece of that big purse so probably not a play for me at least not in exacta.......a beautiful pedigree though(BR Princequillo nick)  but wins at GS and SA fast tracks.  Maybe lower exotics.  Your #4 Call Me Fast is a good longshot to hit superfecta, so good luck with him, too!  He will be at high odds I think.  Silver Prospector is one who wins a race at OP once a year.  Since he just won one already in 2023, I won't use.  6-1 odds seems too low for him.

Maker's Keystone Field (#9) is scratched.  Might give your #4 more of a shot

Trifecta came in 10-5-7  (Last Samarai, Classic Causeway, Forza Di Oro).

Yay!  I only played in a contest as the odds were not good enough for a real life wager.  But I should have played it:

$0.50 Trifecta 10/5/7 $32.70

Last Samarai now upped his winnings to almost $2 million in earnings just at Oaklawn, 5 year old ungelded, owned by Willie Horton Racing and trained by Lukas.

Mott's Vittorio ran 4th.   4th and onward was 2 - Vittorio, 8 - Tawny Port, 1 - Silver Prospector, 3 - Rated R Superstar, 6 - Necker Island, 4 - Call Me Fast
