I must admit that I haven’t been as engaged as in years past. I guess I’m still in mourning. As the days draw closer, I’m beginning to get into the TC mood. 
 

As of now, I really love Forte! I know, not exactly earth shattering! A lot of people do. So I’m going to add a couple less likely horses that also catch my fancy.

Derma Sotogake - One of the days, a UAE Derby will take down the Derby. No place is horse racing getting stronger than Japan. This horse could be dangerous on the lead.

Mage - I really like this lightly raced horse. His numbers appear to be improving, despite being asked to step up in competition. I think he moved too early in the Fla. Derby. Needs to sit the trip.

Welcome back. By now I usually have a good feeling for at least 5-6 but I look and look again and that list changes abit every time.

I’m with you on Sotogake.  I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Japanese take the exacta either with Mandarin Hero or even the trifecta with one of the other two if they run.  Wouldn’t that be something. You have to have Forte in there too though.

I actually have another horse I like that slipped my mind at the time of my post:

Two Phil’s - I was impressed with his Turfway prep. You always want see a horse run fast while stretching out. The surface doesn’t bother me, as I picked Animal Kingdom a while back.

Continuar is live, Bet, and is definitely going to be overlooked.  Can figure.

I expect 20/1 or even higher.  

Box the Japanese.  Continuar across the board.

Forte is a wonderful horse but I play against the Pletchers, especially the overbet ones.

If he beats me, he beats me.

Pletcher did beat me with Super Saver, though.  LOL  I know you had him and even tried to make me see the sense of it....but, nooooo.  

I still think Calvin won that Derby for Super Saver.  Killer ride.

Still looking at pp's for this race. Trying to whittle down 20 to around 6 or 7 and go from there.

Right now i like Kingsbarns / Hit Show and Disarm. On the fence with 4 others.
