After I saw him stumble when he was galloping (he wasn't even into a full gallop yet) I think it was on 5/03 I KNEW he would be scratched.
I think I posted about seeing him do that.
Forte doesn't trip/stumble, he's way too nimble.
why I knew when I woke up today another horse would get scratched today and had put a line thru my picks from a few days ago.

Absolutely astonishing! Yes, you did note that, and were pretty good about the others being scratched too! I had heard that last week, Practical Move wasn't looking great, and I often wonder about the late shipping of horses, not allowing them to defeat jet lag, get accustomed to new environs, settle in, etc.....especially those that don't generally travel.
My biggest issue is that Pletcher insisted YESTERDAY in an interview, after morning gallops, that Forte couldn't have looked better! What is it about how disingenuous these trainers are in interviews?!? Except for Keith, and possibly Walsh, they all seem to be hiding things....I don't like it.
Preliminary reporting suggests it was a state vet that made the decision?!?

I agree. I was happy to hear that he was "back on track" so to speak yesterday. Now this morning, I read here, from Winter, that he's scratched. Why would Pletcher have skirted the issue. I'm sure he knew full well yesterday that the handwriting was on the wall.

Irad is now hopping onto Cyclone Mischief! Very interesting for pace now......

Cyclone Mischief can hit the board IMHO. Will use him along with Rocket Can and Sun Thunder as my bombers to hit the tri or superfecta.
