Do you think showing up and competing and getting results is just pure luck? If Mage so happens to win the triple crown he and his connections did what they were supposed to do. He would have earned it. Nobody stopped other horses from entering.

Small fields perennially show up as other connections pass Preak race for numerous reasons. Dis n Dat. Dis n Dat.
Still contend that on Derby day JJ Castellano regained his total feel and skill sets following a climb from an injury and along the way taking mounts on smaller barns.
Dogs has been JJ's best cheerleader on this site. Great human being.
Lots a NYRA colony jocks have lost mounts and trainers since Castellano back in the saddle. Yet..
The Derby..
Kinda Kastellano Kismet Kentucky Derby.
Saturday is a new day.
All about jockey rides. And not much 4 hooves representation.
Hoofnote: Where was Ortiz Jr Thursday. No show @ Belmont.

You can’t control who runs. You can only beat who does. No asterisks. Some TC winners beat small fields in some of the races. Not their fault!

Every time i "key" a horse i NEVER win. Can't remember the last time i hit a wheel.
I see FM is out. Does Mage's odds drop considerably?
Here's to hoping a long shot hits the board to spice up the $$$$$!! Go CTC!

Thanks for joining in.
Many here are not betting Preak & card.
Those who do Preak are not coming heavy.
JJ Castellano is at Belmont Park on Friday.....while Irad Jr, Rosario, Johnny Vee are riding at Preakness site and targeting the landscape.
Yet, career wise makes sense for J J Castellano to ride all acquired mounts Friday as better for business/career in the long run.
Particularly interested to see how JJ performs at the Big A, today Friday.
