May-17

I'm going horizontals.

------++++--------

Today Killer chalk win, then deepest in other legs. Or use 2, then higher odds in open fields.

FYI..As usual..Arabian horses last race.

Jockey....Jockey

Johnny V

Irad Ortizzz Jr

Slow pace early had Red Route One unusually close up and making Mage pull back out of stalking position. Never recovered.

Luckily I didn’t get to the betting site. Too busy with a little league event. Also, I probably could have made more of an effort to get away for an hour or so, if it wasn’t for Mage’s low odds, and a post I read here about tired Mage looked after the Derby. Perhaps he is better off well off the pace, then launching his bid from way back.

Mage lost all chances of a win when unexpectedly Red showed up early and made Derby winner lose his "spot".

There were 2 races where the winner paid cold rock hard ten under $4 and open fields where winners saw 17/1 +. Played horizontals, no PPs, nada.

Blazing Sevens got his saddlecloth number

That's for sure. Lots of experts did not like him, and looking at the Form he was way too slow compared to the other entries. Yet he almost wrested a win away from National T.
