Hidden Stash posted a higher bris at 1 1/16 vs 1 1/8 this year. FYI we have discussed this in the past that when that happens they typically do not hit the trifecta.

Looks like the rain late April will be it. But...There is a big card on Friday and the stepping might not be totally corrected 'a machina.*

I'm gonna start out with the notion that on a given day about 3 Favs of a 9 card Win.
I'm taking a look back at when Ky Derby fav did not win for 20 yes.
I'm Lookin at 7 Derby winners M/L + post favorite win. *DQ +.
Last not fav 2012 I'll Have Another.
Yet, the consecutive conundrum syndrome was would the same jock, first Derby mount on IHA scores a win; and would his next leg up in the saddle with Nyquist be..Another? And yes it was. Gotta be a record as of late.
The 2 recent long shot 50-1 Derby winners had the quintessential riders aboard Giacomo/Mike Smith and Mine That Bird/Mr Kentucky Derby Cal Borel.
And WADR. .if this Derby turns into the favorite breaking the Win streak of 7. Not winning or worse..IN A ROW..it will be due to premise above...surgical ride by top jocks. Yet..Fav jock is top fav and did *win ridding Max Security.
To be continued.

Yup, remember the year we started that experiment together. Who else?
What did you think about my new theory about checking sprinting speed as youngsters? Seems like that would clue in to something, but not really sure. LOL Yes, they have moved on to routing......but what if they have to squeeze that last bit o' speed out at the very end? Would not high speed sprinting abilitiy help there?

I took a quick peek and only found the one ( Hidden Stash) for now. I will try to take another look in a bit. The thing is we said as a 3 year old according to my notes and can’t remember if a shorter distance counts like the Gotham or if it needs to be 1 1/16. (Whats the dif right?) I will be using Bris. I’m in the middle of moving this week two hours away to retire in northern Wisconsin (Northof64) so I have scatter brains and limited time. Trying to check in when I take a breather. Great analogy on sprinting and Zenyata was a perfect example!!

Ok please feel free to double check an correct if needed. Others are Mandaloun, Get her number, Hozier, Caddo River( but at a mile), the following two posted the same figure at 1 1/8 and a shorter distance this year. Soup and Sandwich and Highly Motivated. For the sake of splitting hairs I guess those last two are technically ok. Gotta go!!

A wonderful state. My entire family (except me and 1 brother) lives there. I love Wisconsin when I visit.
Moving is very all-consuming and I can see how that would impact your abilty to pore over PPs.
I will have another look as well, North.

Hot Rod Charlie ran better at 1-1/16th...in the BC Juvie but that was a while ago. Then he ran 93 @1-1/16th then a 96 at 9.5F in LA Derby but was bumped at start.
This is why Hot Rod has been hard to figure for me but he will NOT be in my exacta for sure. Either will anyone from the ARK Derby.
I agree that HM and S&S are okay

Hot Rod Charlie is a half brother to Mitole as well, so I'm a bit suspect of his proclivity for 10F.
