They do. In winter the UK uses GMT (Greenwich Mean Time), in summer they use BST (British Summer Time, which is GMT + 1).

Similarly on the mainland, winter is CET (Central European Time), summer is CEST (Central European Summer time), which are both 1 hour ahead of the UK's time.

They do switch the clocks on different weekends than North America though.  I know they go to summer time on the last weekend of March unlike here where we do it on the second Sunday of March.

That seems crazy but there must be a good reason...better ground maybe?  They’re in that turn for like a minute so maybe that has something to do with it?
