I look forward to Saratoga every year, just for the juvy races. Many trainers wait until this meet to unveil the cream of the crop. Undoubtedly we'll see some BC Juvy runners show up over the next several weeks. As always, I follow the MTRs that are already working, hoping to see a couple in those races. I am usually not disappointed. More Than Real, Catholic Boy, Selflessly, and Stopshoppingmaria, all showed up at this meet before participating in a BC Juvy race.

I always look forward to this time of year for the 2's at Saratoga and Del Mar,
I enjoy looking for the ones to project before they race, and projecting a list
separate after they run and who the main trainer is for the Homebred Elite Sires
that won't be on the sales lists, and back burner the ones they sell and track the amount.
Then look at the Owners of the Mares bred to the Sire, do they sell them or keep them.
This year the Freshman Sire I singled out is Gun Runner owned By Winchell, His trainer
is Asmussen and I list his group of G R's first ,they could be the best of his crop, Look at his High
priced Sales of Home breds G R's, and check the high sales of the mares bred to G R,
and the ones they keep. After all of that, the best of the crop might be the cheapest sold.
Using my pedigree angles the Cheapest sold could be rated higher then the high priced ones.
Its 2 Yr old season. Good luck.

Great job Smarty. SPA action is where 2 year olds enter for 1st time. And it takes burning the midnight oil to get a handle on 1st time maidens - No PPs. Thanks! (d)

James Aloysius ran well, but very green. If he could have run straight in the stretch and allowed Saez to concentrate on riding to the finish instead of correcting the whole time, he might have won.

Oh I agree, Still an elite prospect imo and a firster's race had more pros than cons
and you need both to come out and he showed workable things that can be corrected.
Some in the race were not firsters and Brown had the Winner.
Hey, Do you have a list of MTR BMSire list, that you want to share ?
Brushed at the start, Lugged in while left handed whip, Showed a turn of foot,
last 1/16 in 5.70, in a 8.f turf , bred for 12 f.

I don’t have a list. Funny you should ask. Just today I was thinking about how good a BMS he’s turning out to be. I know a few mares that have runners out there. I will send you a list, but it will be far from complete.

This is a list of More Than Ready broodmares that have produced stake winners. There may be more.

Thanks for the list, help's find what a Turn-To line with tff 1x works the best with.
