I loved how Consumer Spending finished that MSW. The Frankel horse ran to the hype, but I think she was harder ridden to get that win. Also, CS dropped back suddenly after breaking well. I don’t know what happened there. It will be interesting to see if Consumer Spending gets another start at the maiden level, where she will be odds on, or will she go straight to a stakes start from here.

That's a tough call after this route race 8.5 f. The schedule and the Variant might come into play.

I agree.....I was more impressed with Consumer Spending.....as to next start, well, as discussed in the thread regarding strategies, here is a perfect example; place horse where winning is likely, but is also preparatory for the end goal

Harder ridden and flogged by Ortiz, I like Pratts hands and the way he used them

in this ride on Consumer, the drop back looked planned so he and Rosario on the worst

horse in the field could play Rock, paper, and scissors until the racing started. That 7 horse

never worse than 3rd was fighting his Jock the first Quarter, This might be a key Turf race

For 2 yr old fillies. MSW imo

I know it was Arlington, but add Plus Chic(More Than Ready, out of a Joyeux Dancer mare) to your filly watch. She ran to her works, and I think she will stretch out.

MTR is churning them out at the Spa. On Friday, race 5, he's got two nice ones; More Than Vows(Lynch) and Bubble Rock(Cox). This is why this time of the year is always exciting to me. Hope springs eternal!
