Although I rooted for this horse while on the TC trail, I feared that what was being asked of him, could potentially have a negative effect on him. His three highest speed figures were in his first three races. Since then, he has run markedly slower. His debut at 6f, then the Gotham and Wood, seemed to do him in. It is always tempting to rush a late starting three year old onto the TC trail, but perhaps Crowded Trade will remain a bit of a cautionary tale.
