GL to you this year, Raesfan.

I'm still just trying to find my WIN candidates, not my exotics horses yet.   I can fill those in later, after defections, post position draws, and also knowing the weather.   Like for exotics, I can't bring myself to leave out Kingsbarn yet, due to Uncle Mo.

Then, i
f track is wet/sealed or sloppy, that would change a lot of things for me.   There are many in here who would benefit on slop like Reincarnate, Confidence Game, Two Phils, etc.   But leaving that aside for now:

So for my WIN candidates right now, (today) I like any of the Japanese horses, esp. Mandarin Hero.   Also Hit Show, Jaces Road, Lord Miles, Skinner.   I am not tossing Confidence Game yet.  I've learned not to "get off" a horse I like even under worst case scenarios.  I am still turning Blazing over in my mind for a longshot.

Horses who may be in my exotics down the line, but I don't think can WIN (on dry track) are Practical Move, Tapit Trice, Angel of Empire, Two Phils, Rocket Can, Mage, Verifying, Sun Thunder, Raise Cain, and Cyclone Mischief if he gets in.  If I had to place a wager to day I am not even sure I would put Forte in the win spot, either.  But I like him a LOT.

Take all this with a grain of salt, as I have a lot of "uncovering" to do.

Two Phil’s - I was impressed with his Turfway prep. You always want see a horse run fast while stretching out. The surface doesn’t bother me, as I picked Animal Kingdom a while back.

I included in my list for exotics, but not for my WIN spot   He is very tactical, and won on Slop at CD.  Nice Lasix Free horse who can run on AW and dirt.    Hard not to like a Hard Spun anyway and ND sireline is okay in my book.

Continuar and Dura Erede have both been “striked through” on Downey’s road to the derby list, so hopefully the Mandarin gets in (23rd or 24th on his list) and we can still hit the exacta :D

Dura Erede is pointing to the Tokyo Yushun [Japanese Derby] on May 28.  I do not know why Downey put a line through Continuar.  He is at Churchill and pointing to the Kentucky Derby.

Downey wouldn't be the only one getting that wrong, either.

Box!!   LOL

That sounds about right . I haven't followed him in a few years I forget the horse

the first time he picked a horse that wasn't a Kentucky Bred, and I don't know if he

still prefers Kentucky breds.

This is the correct answer.   Both Continuar and Derma Sotogake are boots on the ground already at CD.  They don't ship to not run.

I'm still not wild about Sotogake though.

He drew a line thru his 33 pts line and has him in 20th place,

no order has been changed
