Hi Gunter;

I've got a 'Member' on my forum who uses it for 'Self Promotion' and advertising... I want him to understand that this is not a Platform for this...

He has been moaning constantly about "What?"... "What have I done"... I'm sick and tired of him advertising his 'facebook' and websites that sell [ removed ]...

I know that I can just 'Delete' him.. but he might come back under a different name. He is not reasonable. He uses the name [ removed ].

Any advice or intervention would be greatly appreciated.

Dambuster. (Not Happy and disturbing my Members)...

In the absence of illegal activity or massive spamming where we would get involved,  it's up to you to control who posts in your forum. If you don't want anyone posting unwanted messages set Moderation for new members, give Voice to the ones passing your approval, which lets them post at will, and remove Voice or lock out for any reason at all.  That's what the most active forums do.

Let us know if you need more help on how to do this.

please do not post details and names of problem members or disputes here ...

In other words; I can't Nuke them.

You are right Gunter - I should moderate.

Many thanks...

Dambuster ... (Have a good day Gunter).
