My forum has really taken off - 358 members in the first week. But despite turning off e-mail notifications (checked the box in preferences) I am still getting bombarded with every comment and every post. How can this be resolved. I just want to be notified in responses/messages to me.

Yes. I have Delphi Plus. Still getting bombarded with post notifications.

There is a red "X" to delete discussion under subscriptions, but I was afraid to hit this. 
Is this the way to stop email notifications?

Yes, the red x  is for stopping the subscription.  It will ask if you are sure.

Ok, it worked and I still get forum posts directed to me right in the forum. Keep up the good work!
