I was chatting with a friend in the forum about colors or shades.  Do you choose different shades for the seasons or do you mainly choose based on your outfit?  What drives your color/shade choices?

I usually choose based on my outfit. Normally matching shirt and tights and have shorts in an other color to create a contrast.

For me, it's usually off black, navy and taupe for fall and winter and tan shades for spring.  I don't wear much in the summer, but if I do, it's generally tans in ultra sheer weights.

I wear beige/tan pantyhose with shorts, but rarely any other colors with shorts.  With pants, I often wear black tights under them in cooler weather instead of socks.   Would like to get some tights in different colors, such as brown, gray, or navy, but haven't recently.  Nothing too wild.
