Dunno about Texas. However, in Colorado yesterday, a state legislator was removed from office - thrown out by his fellow legislators for sexual harassment. Right before he left, he switched from being a Democrat to being a Republican, so that Republicans now get to name his replacement.

""Harvey [Weinstein] opened the door for a few people. A night with Harvey - that's the price you pay. Some people paid the price, other people suffered from it." Terry Gilliam says the #MeToo movement has become mob rule. https://t.co/ghHKlDCT1B #TimesUp"

Whatchya hiding there, Mr Gilliam?
“Harvey opened the door for a few people. A night with Harvey — that’s the price you pay,” he adds. “Some people paid the price, other people suffered from it.”
The price of work is not sex, that's called prostitution. I agree that things can get pretty ugly on Twitter or social media in general, but those that have stood up and said Enough with the #metoo! are speaking out of turn.
There's a revolution going on and it's about time. People have the right to be who they are and be accepted for it without taking a backseat to those with power and wealth.
