The bases for his argument reminds me of the Affluenza defence.

You (Hollywood/movie goers) did not punish me before it is therefore hypocritical to now.

I think that's exactly what he believes. I never understood why he was fawned over for all those years, rather than shunned.

This sounds stupid on the face of it, but what they're talking about is "limiting" meetings in hotel rooms and private residences. Not sure why they're not eliminating them all together, or requiring that the actor have a 3rd party present at all times.

They should meet in an office with a woman present.  Male Gynecologists never see patients alone anymore.  Why not the same rules for executives?
