I was never really successful on the weight loss journey until I started logging my food several years ago. I never realized how many calories I was consuming a day until I started tracking what I eat. It really is an eye opener once you start doing it...it also allows me to eat what I want without feeling deprived as long as I stay in my calorie range for the day. There are many food trackers out there...I use Sparkpeople.com but there is also MyFitnessPal and many others.
