Appreciate any input on this as I believe it is a central understanding pertaining to the work of GOD today.  It was opened in my soul about 45 days ago, and has been growing in clarity and power since.

At every point of our maturity in Christ, abiding in Him is the focal point of spiritual warfare.   Recognizing and resisting every effort to draw us out of Christ into our old dead familiar manner of life is what the devil works hard to accomplish.

Spiritual warfare as in Ephesians 6:10-18 is the province of the corporate Christ, the Body. The warrior in this chapter is corporate, like the bride in chapter 5, the new man in chapter 2, and the church which is His Body in chapter 1.

No individual should should entertain the idea that they are going to bind the strong man and plunder his house themselves. To abide in Him, is to abide in the vine with all the other branches. This must be not only our doctrine, but actual practice. We must be one with the Head, and in one accord with the members of His Body. Then we abide in the victory of Christ, resist the devol and he will flee.

Everyone I know who watched the movie "The War Room" and tried to put that into practice individually got the holy hell beat out of them.

Agree 100% Fred, this is why I posted it = bring OUR victory in Christ to the forefront of everyone of us: IN CONCERT = His love ruling and guiding.   This is never a part time experience, it is our all.  As we in concert work out our salvation, GOD will put us PERFECTLY under the Headship of His Son; where He will work out His every desire to everyone of us.

Probably the most common and successful area of drawing believers out is on the very reality of FAITHFUL corporate life.  If we are abiding on this issue, all the division and individualism would be overcome, and we experience being knit together in His love increasingly as we grew from faith to faith, glory to glory.  But alas the reality shown in scripture finds far reaching place in the family of faith = Luke 9:53-56 And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem. And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know

There are many ways GOD would quicken the reality of His Son being our everything in Him.  Finally that alone is the reality of eternal life = GOD.  We see darkly, how open are we to reality in clarity?  How close are we to living in GOD through the faith of His Son.  I ask you, James, and any other to offer exhortations and clarity here that will help us put on this life given by GOD, and be free of any other consideration.

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of GOD

So in abiding in Christ, how mature are we in what areas, and where do we need discernment to see the enemy has drawn us out on a given point???   This is where the rubber hits the road regarding the depth of our seeking, going after, and humility.

It rests in the discernment of the LIVING Word.  As new creations in Christ we need to be increasingly aware that our enemies tactics are to move our souls into action, while our Lord Jesus Christ leads us ever deeper into walking after the Spirit of GOD, even as He did.

Here is our reality in our Lord Jesus Christ:

Our Father in Heaven is Hallowed:  In Jesus.

His Kingdom is come, His will is done:  In Jesus.

We have our daily bread:  In Jesus.

We forgive trespasses against us as we have been forgiven: In Jesus.

We are not led into temptation, but are delivered from evil:  In Jesus.

For our Fathers is the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory forever and forever:  In Jesus Name and the glory therein.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

As new creations abiding in Christ Jesus, we are still living souls in relationship with GOD, and one another.  The warfare revolves much around this reality = will we walk according to the determination of our souls in any given circumstance, or will we walk as our Lord = after the Spirit = it is written.  Adam had the command of GOD((Spirit)), yet in following after His soul into the transgression, he brought the power of death to men.  I believe the motive was his love for Eve, but transgressing GOD for love of something else is vain, and idolatry.  True love((Our Lord Jesus Christ)) stands with GOD, as it KNOWS that is the one and only reality of true love for self, and loved ones.   Abide in Christ, resist the devil, and he will flee; and in your abiding GOD will mature from a newborn into a manifest son.
