Old Time Religion - was first published in 1873, when a tour book about the Fisk Jubilee Singers was written to recount their northern states tour. In 1889, Charlie D. Tillman, who was the son of a Baptist minister, was helping his father with a tent meeting in Lexington, South Carolina.

When I was just a very young kid I really liked a lot of the songs by Pat Boone -  "Love Letters in the Sand" (1957), "April Love" (1957), and "Moody River" (1961). The one you posted is new to me.

Energyworker, these appear to be two different songs by Rory Gallagher. "In Your Town" was released on the "Deuce" album in 1971and "Going to My Hometown" was released on the "Live in Europe" album in 1972.

We should go with "In Your Town" because the word "Hometown" is a compound word containing the word "town" and doesn't meet the rules of the game.
