Miracle Whip is only good on leftover turkey or ham sandwiches after holidays.

Any kind of egg/tuna/chicken salad needs mayo, pinches of dried mustard and paprika, finely minced onion or shallots, black pepper, and any fresh herbs of the season. Dried, well Herbs de Provence works well.

Funny we all have tastes we have grown up with, though my kids far prefer my potato salad, with no MW or mayo, but the dressing is balsamic vinegar and olive oil, no eggs, just sweet onions and fresh herbs.

My extended family loves my Mom's potato salad, enhanced with MW, and she makes at least a gallon, for us all to have extra to take home. We give it all to the boyfiend, fiend I wrote, not correcting it, and he seems to love it.

I have always admired, and tried to uphold his teachings,

The philosophy of Confucius, also known as Confucianism, emphasized personal and governmental morality, correctness of social relationships, justice, kindness, and sincerity.

Copied from Wiki, as I am too tired to find his books in our library.

Hum...A lot to think about.

So I vote for Oct 14th being all about fossils. Because I'm a Geologist and they are dear to my heart and incredibly beautiful and remind us how short a time (geologically) man woman camera tv etc. have been on earth I just love fossils.

By the way - this weekend is Canadian Thanksgiving. Now I kinda know the historic foundations of the whole American holiday which occurs a month later because of a huge climate difference.

Basically this holiday is about giving thanks for the fall harvest, a thanks to our planet earth for providing us with life sustaining food. The other essentials of life are air, water and a roof.

And hopefully living through this Pandemic.

XXXXXs from a distance.

Odd that I missed that one.  I know I had a header for it last year.

I'll make it up to you with fossils.
