Our 2 residents are off isolation, but they still have to do one more round of testing tomorrow. if we have no positive tests than we can remove our masks. Fingers crossed.

Hopefully it all goes well tomorrow. 

I'm going this afternoon to get my flu shot and the latest Covid booster.

ETA: Looks like I won't be getting those shots today. I just got a text msg from CVS that my appointment has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. I guess I'll try to reschedule it for later in the week or maybe next week.

I got reminders for same shots as well as pnuemonia and the new rsv vaccine.

Now just need to find (or find how to replace) my original covid vaccinations card. 

I rescheduled for next Monday, Oct. 2. 

I need to check with my doctor to see if I should get the new RSV vaccine. If I do, I'll get it another time. Two shots - one in each arm - is enough for one day.

I had rsv type pneumonia and was hospitalized last February for a week. Glad there is a new vaccine.

Awwwwwww, why not go for the gusto and just have one injected in your hip!  (ROFL) ............I won't even do 2 at once.

I pretty much know what will be my Covid reaction, but each flu shot is just a tad different formula which is sometimes enough to make me tired or drained. Plus, sometimes the injection site is more sore. I've not had an RSV, so I want that one in a singular time just so I can know any side effects are exactly credited to that serum and not leave me wondering if it could be the other shot or my body dealing with both.

I agree.

By the way, there was an article in AARP magazine saying that Covid and flu could be administered at the same time, but they recommended getting RSV by itself.

I've now rescheduled my shots again. I'm supposed to have minor outpatient surgery on Oct. 9 which is just a week after when I was getting those shots. I checked with the doctor's office and they advised it would be best to wait until after the surgery. If I had been able to get them this past Monday - as originally scheduled - it would have been okay. But they're concerned the Covid booster may be a little too close to the surgery date. Best to wait until after the surgery.
