JNCO Jeans (short for "Judge None Choose One", is a Los Angeles, California-based clothing company specializing in boys' and men's jeans. It was founded in 1985 by Moroccan-born, French-raised brothers Jacques Yaakov Revah and Haim Milo Revah. The brand gained recognition in the 1990s with its boys' ultra-wide straight legged denim jeans featuring elaborate pocket logos and a unique street look. The brothers commissioned a local LA graffiti artist Joseph Montalvo, aka Nuke, to design the brand's logo. This street look was popularized throughout the 90s starting in Los Angeles and working its way through the United States. JNCO also manufactures T-shirts, khaki pants and other clothing articles for men and women. Unlike similar California based apparel manufacturers, JNCO manufactured most of its products in the United States, mainly at S.M.J. American Manufacturing Co., a 200,000-square-foot operation also owned by Milo and Jacques Revah)

Lisa (Left-Eye) Lopes (from the girl group TLC) burns down boyfriend's house (Lopes began dating Atlanta Falcons NFL player Andre Rison. There were accusations that the couple had physical altercations a few times in the past, so this wasn’t the first time things got heated between the two. On June 9, 1994 Rison came home around 5 A.M. after leaving a nightclub, girlfriend at the time Left Eye, was highly upset when she came home and found loads of new clothing and shoes placed on the bed, but nothing was for her. They then got into a heated argument, which led to them fighting outside in the driveway and Left Eye bashing the windows out of his car. Before doing that, Left Eye took the new belongings he bought, tossed them in the bathtub, and lit them on fire. The fire eventually spread and led to a complete destruction of Rison’s home. The next day Left Eye turned herself in and was charged with felony arson. She was later on released on $75,000 bail and rehab. Left Eye was charged with $10,000 in fines and served probation for five years)
Not sure this was the best move.......................
The "Macarena" is a Spanish dance song by Los del Río about a woman of the same name. Appearing on the 1993 album A mí me gusta, it was an international hit and dance craze in the latter half of 1996 and part of 1997. The song got the group ranked the "#1 Greatest One-Hit Wonder of All Time" by VH1 in 2002.
Boy do I remember that one.........my parents used to go to Mexico (Cozumel) yearly. They came home one year with that song (and the dance) before it became popular here in the United States. Yes I still remember the moves.............
Nirvana releases the album Nevermind (is the second studio album by American rock band Nirvana, released on September 24, 1991 by DGC Records. Produced by Butch Vig, it was Nirvana's first release on the DGC label, as well as the first to feature drummer Dave Grohl. Nevermind features a more polished, radio-friendly sound than the band's prior work, and is therefore considered a significant departure from their debut album, Bleach. Recording for Nevermind took place at Sound City Studios in Van Nuys, California, and Smart Studios in Madison, Wisconsin in May and June 1991, with mastering being completed in August of that year at The Mastering Lab in Hollywood, California)
Nirvana was an American rock band formed in Aberdeen, Washington in 1987. Founded by lead singer and guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic, the band went through a succession of drummers before recruiting Dave Grohl in 1990. Nirvana's success popularized alternative rock, and they were often referenced as the figurehead band of Generation X. Their music maintains a popular following and continues to influence modern rock and roll culture. In the late 1980s, Nirvana established itself as part of the Seattle grunge scene, releasing its first album, Bleach, for the independent record label Sub Pop in 1989. They developed a sound that relied on dynamic contrasts, often between quiet verses and loud, heavy choruses. After signing to major label DGC Records in 1991, Nirvana found unexpected mainstream success with "Smells Like Teen Spirit", the first single from their landmark second album Nevermind (1991). A cultural phenomenon of the 1990s, Nevermind was certified Diamond by the RIAA and is credited for ending the dominance of hair metal. Characterized by their punk aesthetic, Nirvana's fusion of pop melodies with noise, combined with their themes of abjection and social alienation, brought them global popularity. Following extensive tours and the 1992 compilation album Incesticide and EP Hormoaning, the band released their highly anticipated third studio album, In Utero (1993). The album topped both the US and UK album charts, and was acclaimed by critics. Nirvana disbanded following Cobain's suicide in April 1994. Various posthumous releases have been overseen by Novoselic, Grohl, and Cobain's widow Courtney Love. The posthumous live album MTV Unplugged in New York (1994) won Best Alternative Music Performance at the 1996 Grammy Awards. Nirvana is one of the best-selling bands of all time, having sold more than 75 million records worldwide. During their three years as a mainstream act, Nirvana received an American Music Award, Brit Award and Grammy Award, as well as seven MTV Video Music Awards and two NME Awards. They achieved five number-one hits on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart and four number-one albums on the Billboard 200. In 2004, Rolling Stone named Nirvana among the 100 greatest artists of all time. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in their first year of eligibility in 2014.
