Xtro 3: watch the skies -  movie for Halloween

For years, the government has successfully covered up very real proof of U.F.O.s, but when a group of Marines is dispatched to a deserted island, they uncover unsettling evidence: old films documenting brutal medical experiments on aliens. They also uncover a lone surviving alien out for revenge, and a military intelligence plot to sacrifice them and conceal existence of the encounter.

You've Been Booed!/We've Been Booed! (“You’ve Been Booed” is a Halloween tradition that has grown in popularity in the last few years, typically in neighborhoods. Think of it as a cutesy way for neighbors to give each other a small, surprise Halloween gift basket (aka, a boo bucket, boo gift, or boo basket). During boo-ing, one family will drop off some Halloween goodies on a neighbor’s front porch in secret – while the neighbors are sleeping or at work, for instance. Then, the neighbor that got “booed” will pay it forward and “boo” someone else. Usually, once one family has been booed, they’ll hang a sign on their front door or mailbox that says “We’ve been booed”. That way, other families know to pick a different neighbor)

Candy Man aka. The Man Who Killed Halloween, was an American man convicted of killing his eight-year-old son on Halloween 1974 with a potassium cyanide-laced Pixy Stix that was ostensibly collected during a trick or treat outing. O'Bryan poisoned his son in order to claim life insurance money to ease his own financial troubles, as he was $100,000 in debt. O'Bryan also distributed poisoned candy to his daughter and three other children in an attempt to cover up his crime; however, neither his daughter nor the other children ate the poisoned candy. He was convicted of capital murder in June 1975 and sentenced to death. He was executed by lethal injection in March 1984.

Festival of Samhain (is a Gaelic festival marking the end of the harvest season and beginning of winter or "darker-half" of the year. In the northern hemisphere, it is held on 1 November, but with celebrations beginning on the evening of 31 October, as the Celtic day began and ended at sunset. This is about halfway between the autumn equinox and winter solstice. It is one of the four quarter days associated with Gaelic seasonal festivals, along with Imbolc, Beltane and Lughnasa. Historically, it was widely observed throughout Ireland, Scotland, and the Isle of Man. A similar festival was held by the Brittonic Celtic people, called Calan Gaeaf in Wales, Kalan Gwav in Cornwall, and Kalan Goañv in Brittany)

Georgie's Halloween by Robert Bright - Halloween was just the time for Georgie, the gentle little ghost. When the town gave a party on the Village Green, everyone else had to dress up, but Georgie went as he was. However, because he was shy, he did not compete in the best costume contest, and it was not until he returned home that the mice in the attic gave him a prize.
