Thank you! :) I am looking forward to my first seasonal event! :D

I have both spring rooms opened - what I plan to do is to keep one open one day, and open the other the next day and alternate each day (and after midnight each of those days, switch only for the few minutes it takes me to finish the HOS in my private room for the one I didn't have opened). Does that sound like a good plan? I do want to alternate...

I haven't yet figured out what the start of the game day is, since it says we can give gifts to 5 friends a day - but in a 24 hour period, that's 15 times (since it refreshes and allows it twice more). So does that mean one actual 24 hour period is 3 days in game time? It's a little confusing...

One day has 3 gifting periods (originally the game only had one gifting period). The clock on the left counts the day down. When it reads 12:00, you're halfway through the day.

Thank you! :) I always thought that clock was just in relation to the daily quest - I had no idea it gave the time til the next day (boy I feel dumb. lol) so at 24:00 - that's the new day? Or would it be 0:00  ....(sorry for all the questions...)

The start of the day is 24:00:00. The current time is 1:21:01 so we have 81 minutes before the new day starts.

Gifting is 24:00-16:00

16:00-8:00

8:00-0

The little sections around the clock tell you how many parts the daily quest is 3, 5, or 10. Another daily quest is offered when you finish one but it will expire when the game clock hits zero.

Hello - I have another question about all this... :)

From what I've read here, and what I've been told, I'm trying to determine the best way to go about this...

I was going to craft my spring cat during the CC of "craft 20 objects day" or the other one - "craft 15 in 60 min."  but I am rethinking that and maybe I should wait???

From what I understand I need to gather eggs in my inventory now, so that during the spring event they fall from the HOS or wherever they appear more frequently? And that there should be a minimum of 20 there (or the appearance of them will be rare in the game) - which from playing, that seems to be the case with every regular item, so makes sense.

So, my question - do you advise me waiting to make any  more spring pets and just collecting the items, like all the colored eggs now, (from wish list) to hold on to, 'til have 20 each and the game will then give me more of what I need and want during the event?? And just waiting to make my other spring pets during the spring event itself, when my inventory will remain at 20 (after collecting what I hope to collect from the game itself?) Or am I on the wrong track here and the game will still give regularly, even if I have zilch of that item in my inventory?

Honeyphan,

The colored eggs aren't rare, really; at least not in the sense that Unique Stamps or Gifts for Friends can be rare.  It's just that they're harder to collect than some items because you only get the eggs from the DQs, collecting morphing objects, from the Fortune Wheel or from the Airship.  In the last three cases, you only get one at a time.  Therefore, the game doesn't really care about how many you already have.  Rather, it's a question of how much time you personally will have to devote to getting them.  I will say that seasonal event DQs are one-parters, and always involve either gathering HOS drops or catching spirits.  I hope you've been asking the Consortium for Carrots!

For me personally, I'd say go ahead and craft your Cat, since you've indicated that you're not in a big hurry to craft many of the other pets.  This game's about enjoyment after all, and you seem to get a lot of enjoyment out of the pets.

                                                                                                                                                                 Astra

lol- well, yes, that's true. I'm a big cat lover. :)

I haven't actually put carrots on my wish list yet - I'm asking for smiles and jester caps right now (am also working toward getting the jester bunny), but if I don't have to have a great supply of those items - and need more carrots to start the spring event - perhaps I should put that on my list to take one of the slots - (catching "spirit" eggs does sound like fun).

Thanks, Astra! :)

Honeyphan,

If I remember correctly, Jester Caps are a DQ item as well, so you can collect those with your colored eggs.  Smiles, however, you will need BY THE DOZENS.  They are needed for many of the crafted pets and items during the Spring Event, and especially the Wreaths of Spring and Spring Cakes, which you may need for the DQs.  Leave those on the list!

                                                                                                                                                                      Astra

Thank you - I just took off one item and put on the carrots, but left the smiles (on my wish List.) I know the jester bunny requires 2 spring cakes -- and that it needs smiles in it too - so definitely will keep that on my wish list for awhile. And now I have a question about the wreath of spring - are the flowers to make it also pretty easy to collect in game?

I LOVE morphing objects (always buy the CEs in HOPA games that have them, most of the time anyway)- so I think I will like "hunting" the eggs for that. :) I'm almost in the last achievement trophy holder for collecting the morphing flowers here - with like 50 or so more to go, I think (that was this morning's tally). :) I keep waiting for that banner to trumpet the announcement at the bottom of the page with each flower I click! lol
