Update on the Trina airship issue. 

I downloaded the new event update. I sent the airship off one time and it credited me as done with Trina. Yay! No sending the airship 4 times.

The next task that came up was complete any scene 8 times. Huh-what??? Okay, did the 8 scenes...done with task. Next one, send airship to get 83 steering wheels. 

Here's hoping they don't fix this! I am loving these Trina tasks!

Great news about the new update fixing the issue with Trina.....it could have been....possibly.....maybe....just the wording in the first place. Had you sent off the one airship, that may have fulfilled the task even though it was worded incorrectly.

Regarding the change in the number of scenes and airships......They won't "fix" it per se. Periodically random (I think mostly senior players) will get a reprieve on some of Trina's tasks....many have had reduced amounts of each of the items she requests. That will last until the next download (whether for the end of an event, the beginning of an event, content update). 

Since there was no content in this download....there may be a slight change in quantities if there's a CC issued in the next day or so.

I enjoyed reduced number of postcards needing to be sent, and a reduced number of shards being needed. But, my airship wheels, HOSs, and ZZs has remained unchanged.

With the lower amounts being requested, you will still receive the one golden key, but a reduced amount of coins from Trina. As the quantities gradually increase, so will the amount of coins she gives you.

Enjoy it while it lasts....my postcard quantity was going up so gradually that I got lax and didn't stay with her quests as diligently as I should have. It went from asking for 12 postcards to 19 when Fall was released and then up to 20 about 5 days later.

Thanks, AEGram. I will watch and see how things go up with cards, HOSs, airships, and such. I will do as many as possible while the lower amounts last and take advantage of the reprieve. 

I spoke too soon on the game not crashing. I did the total download in the game and I guess I should have left it alone. As soon as I did, it began crashing again. I will uninstall and do the total wipe of game manager as the rep from CS advised doing. It seems to help for a time when I do.

The instructions you provided from the BF tech were very helpful and worked for my second user account to which I could not get the game installed.

That said, please check the following Temp folder...Located at C:\Users\"Your user name"\AppData\Local\Temp <-- (If your computer user ID is KTHREADS, the string would be: C:\Users\kthreads\AppData\Local\Temp

This is a hidden folder, so you can either unhide your folders (check Google for the procedure) or you can open the run line (right click on the Windows button in lower left corner of your screen, choose run.....type the string exactly and you will be taken to that folder.

This is a totally junk folder....apps put stuff there temporarily to open/run other parts of that app. The programmers are sloppy and don't generate the commands to clean up their mess so many of the temp files are left behind. Most of the time, it causes no harm, but sometimes there's an errant item that will not be suppressed/overruled by a new one from the app and it causes app issues.

Plus, over time, all this junk in this folder will slow down your computer's performance......safe to delete all folders and files from this Temp folder (leaving the Temp folder there, of course)..............do it periodically and you will keep your computer running better as well as avoid many app issues.

The other suggestion from BF was to lower my resolution to see if that would help. They also told me to make sure I completely shut down my computer after using it. I do that every night regardless. I have always shut down my PC and always will.  It's a habit from being an auditor for a large insurance company and having to shut down everyday as well as change my password every 20 days. I doubt I will ever stop that habit.

I also once again did the uninstall/reinstall/wipe of game manager. It seems like I have to do this about every four or five times I play. 

BF has told me they can't do anything more. They said they would inform the "techs" of the problem. The last time I had this happen was about five years ago and Elephant Games went into my game, did something, and it stopped crashing. But since they won't answer any emails, I can't get them to look at my games. Frustration is not even close to my feelings at this point.

You will first want to clear the contents from the mentioned temp folder.

Then check that Big Fish folder in the AppData location.

If there appear to be missing things based on what I explained to be in my folder, please take the next step I mentioned for how to resolve.

I'm having the same issue with a few of the people in my conversation list, not sure what is going on.

 I'm having some real issues with the forum. I can't reply to any PMs. I am having better results with my game. I'm able to play for longer periods of time without crashing. 
Thank you so much AEGram for all your help and hanging in there with me. You've really done a lot to help me when BF and EG would not.
