I have a lot of friends who have a snow flake on their wish list.  I am thinking that they think tonights challenge are those snow flakes. It is not.  I caught the snow flake floaters and completed tonights challenge.  Again I could be wrong, but there are too many friends with those on their wish lists that make me think that.  Also tomorrow nights is morphing snow flakes and you can't gift those either.

When you said that you "caught the snow flake floaters," are you referring to the morphing snow flakes?

Or are you referring to one of the new floaters with this year's event?

I've gotten two of the required snowflakes for this challenge by clicking on the morphing snowflakes 5 x.

This is the snowflake you can ask for in your wish list and it's the same as the one you get when clicking on the morphing snowflakes. It's the one my friends have on their wish list.

No, the one that floats across the screen...like the elves and the gold, silver and bronze balls etc...  Yes, one of the new floaters  To many snow flake options!  My game only took the snow flake floater.  It didn't count the one you could put on your wish list..in my game anyways.  And I hate catching the one that float across the screen.  Maybe I was one of the lucky ones, not. Who had to stare at the screen waiting for one to fly by

Day 28 task is to collect any 6 Christmas Snowflakes. These are the ones that float across the screen (as pictured above by LvlSlgr). Which would mean that todays task is the blue snowflakes you get from clicking on the morphing snowflakes. 
 

I’m a little behind on the CC (trying to match with Trina quests and has become more difficult as I’m now at the mercy of the postcards to complete tasks). Will let you know what happens when I get to this CC task

Unfortunately not for my game.  I thought that also but after a few I looked at my progress and not one of them counted so I thought do they mean the floaters.  So I caught one and looked again at my progress and I had a count of 1.  Who knows, at least I finished tonights challenge.

That's really strange. I got all of mine with the morphing snowflakes that gave me the blue snowflake. I only saw one of the Christmas Snowflake floaters and grabbed the image to use in my earlier response. I didn't click on it at all.

Follow-up, working on this task now and it's collecting the morphing snowflakes to get the blue snowflakes that is giving me the credit for this task.
