No Update on PC-Try This to Fix Technical Issues

The solution that Tammy added to the first post here was when I had a slightly different problem. The update was showing in the Game Manager but each time I tried to download it, I got an error. See below from where I first posted that I was having a problem. The "Uninstall/Reinstall" that was suggested didn't work and I had to do something else. That is what Tammy included in her first post.

I keep getting an error when trying to download the update.
If you get this on your PC, it tells you to uninstall your game and download it again. Something I've done in the past successfully.

Has there been an update to the Fall Event? I read somewhere that Oct 13 would be the start but I don't have an update for it.

As usual, I have been having a wonderful time trying to get BF to download MC. First I did as someone said to try, doing Prof Pinfeathers quests, no luck. Then as another suggested, uninstall MC then re-install. no luck. Lost BF's game manager and re downloaded it. Tried again with MC. no luck. Finally decided to go into bf stub and change properties and run as administrator. No MC again. went to bf's dll and did the same with properties and allow DH's game to run with all properties checked, then added run as administrator. I am not computer savvy but that did the trick. MC finally came up with the fall event along with the download. Finally. This is a problem that I always seem to have with my hubby's computer and not so much with mine. I don't know why there is such a difference but at least I got it. I may not be doing things the right way and I wouldn't advise someone else to putter around with some of these things, but at least I finally got both his and mine to work.
